Zenzai (Red bean soup with mochi)

A super easy, yet filling and delicious sweet dish for the cold winter days.

What you’ll need (4)

  • 1 pack of Imuraya Yudeazuki (400g)
  • 1 pack of Sato Kirimochi (400g, 8 pieces)
  • 320ml water


1. Pour 320ml water and a pack of Yudeazuki in a pot.

2. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat and continue cooking for 1-2 minutes.

3. Remove all packaging from the Sato Kirimochi rice cakes and grill them for 4-5 minutes. Alternatively you can fry them in a frypan until the surface of the mochi is slightly browned.

4. Divide the hot Yudeazuki into 4 small bowls and place 2 mochi cakes into each bowl.

5. Enjoy!
